With the Catalina upgrade I notice new problems with networking. Trying to connect to a QNAP NAS, opening a shared folder again after having closed it earlier doesn't work.

When I open a finder window and mark the NAS, it advertises as connected, but reports an error when double clicking a shared folder. Clicking the connected message away results in complete unresponsiveness of the NAS. Only a re-start helps. Any ideas?

Also, screen sharing interrupts more often than before with Mojave.

My most annoying issue is the NAS problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

See some other threads here on same issue, known problem on 10.15.2 (which I and others have too - this with a Synology NAS)

I had issues with my QNAP but my Synology occasionally disconnects or just doesn’t exits. I didn’t find a solution, just a reboot.
