Is the Extreme and Express showing as one network properly? So you should only have something like SmithWireless and SmithBelkin. The Extreme and the Express are putting out the same name, while the Belkin is the odd one out, correct?

Yes. The extreme and the express are 1 network.

The otherone shows a 5ghz and regular channel

Well the disc can't find the router. And I can't find it either to change the settings.

At first I used the disc and clicked "setup access point mode" and I am almost sure it said it was changing the IP of the router. Now the disc doesn't access the routers administration area anymore.

I hate being so computer illiterate. I'm sorry.

You can reset the Belkin with the Reset button and rerun the disk.

I screwed it up somehow. Now I have a wireless network that works. with a name I didnt give it. That I cant access. I reset the router a few times, and ran the software. It refuses to recognize the router.

Luckily, my buddy who works an IT job setting up networks for the govt happens to be staying at my house this weekend. I told him to have a look at it.

We'll see what happens.

There is a way to make the Belkin a regular AP and create a roaming network. Your buddy should have no problem with it.

By the way, try typing it's IP into the web browser.
