Hi, I am currently having the following problem. It started this evening after trying to do a "Clean my Mac.

My system is as follows:

And the problem is:

I apologize for it being in Japanese. But its saying that "networksetup if trying to change the system network composition." I have no idea what that means. My internet connection is working fine except for my PIA and it wont let me insert a password to get rid of the screen.

Has anybody else had this problem before or could they tell me how to get rid of the pesky dialogue box once and for all.

Thanking you

Please somebody, I'm getting desperate. Cant shut the screen for the life of me

What "clean my Mac" program did you use? Are you sure you didn't install a Trojan?

You should log into your recovery partition and reinstall macOS. It'll only replace OS files, it won't touch your apps or data.

The "clean my mac" I have been using for years without any problem. But I will certainly try your suggestion about a reinstall

Many thanks

I finally found a solution to my pop up problem.

After eventually getting my vpn uninstalled (PIA) and excluding it from startup the pop up screen ceased to be. Should I have any more problems I will do as you suggested above and reinstall the OS

Thanking you once again
