no one ever answered my question...how can i convert .rmvb files to ipod format or something that is able to convert to ipod format....?????? Really need help...

Well, googling the term ".rmbv files" revealed this web page which appears to have free mac utilities which convert said files to MP3 format. Ipods can play mp 3 files.

Sorry no one answered your question before; generally questions like yours get hopped on; this is a good forum for help.

.rmvb are Real Media Variable Bitrate video files. It is apparently popular in Asia as an encoding format.

You will have to convert them to some intermediate video format first.

It appears to be difficult, but doable with various commercial/shareware software on Windows.

The downloads appear to be exclusiverly Windows -- the hit on "Mac" is shareware to edit the MAC address of a machine.
Yet another semi useless links site there to make ad revenue...

Whoops-- my bad. Sorry-- I saw the reference to .sit files and assumed it was a mac site.
