Never any iPhone 6+ 128GB in Space Grey or silver - only Golds Sir!

Probably been explained elsewhere but why does any Apple Store I check on the reservation page or even by telephone, never have any iPhones 6+ grey or silver 128GBs in stock - with some confirming they no longer seem to get deliveries of them.
Gold is always available, everywhere, with new gold stocks daily

At launch and for 2 weeks or so after you could reserve at 128GB for collection but since then there are never any grey/silver stocks

Is there a reason why Gold isn't an option? I respect that you may have a preference as far as color but seeing as Gold is always avaliable (my carrier, T-Mobile, has 128GB Gold 6+ in stock as we speak) and so many people are still waiting for SG or Silver despite the wait being pushed into next year at this point.

I prefer SG but like someone said the Gold grows on you.

Funny, where I live I think that's the hardest iPhone type to find, it's like the holy grail of iPhone 6/6+. Everyone seems to be ordering the gold ones around here.

I live in Australia, that's my explanation.

Just Got One - No Waiting

So I decided to get a 6 Plus, space grey and 128. Instead of going to the Apple Store, I just called a few Verizon stores early in the AM. One just got a shipment in and had two. Went down - got it.

I think the key is to go to call the stores right as they open up. You will have better luck with that instead of Apple or Bestbuy...

i couldn't get my hands on a phone for about 6 weeks.... the only thing i found at the end of week 6 was a 16gb Gold, so i said screw it, it's in a case most of the time anyway....

walked into best buy and was told they had a 128SG that just came in.... needless to say it soon became mine.
