Since you got no service after the restore, i assumed you did rely on a software unlock in which case a baseband would need to be preserved. But you are factory unlocked so I have no clue what you did/done/wanted to do.
I have recommended you a lot to do research, just because the internet was very simple 10 years ago, and you have ALWAYS done the same things using your old computer, does not entitle you to not have to learn anything about the internet, websites, email, forums, etc when you purchase a new computer nowadays.
