I was looking for a simple way to attach an airtag to my Kindle, and my eyes happened upon it's pop socket... A bit of quick prying, and it fits. The pop socket doesn't retract all the way anymore (goes in 1 click instead of 2), but that could probably be fixed with some judicious razor work on the pop socket cover...

Where do you buy a kindle for $15?
Cant say I'm a fan of these pop sockets but could have done with this yesterday i was hunting for a kindle all over the house.

Brilliant. Spend $30 to track a $15 item...
A) it's a $300 kindle, and B) the dollar value isn't the point - (many car keys are worth just a few bucks), the point is when I misplace it I don't want to run to goodwill to buy a used kindle, I want to find and read my kindle.

Thanks for the feedback though - I'll be sure to check with you before I do anything in the future.

Anything I can do to help. I'm here all week.
