I'm guessing you'll have to restore if it isn't kicking back to Safe Mode after respring.
 
If you search for sbsettings 3.3.1 fix, then there are two files up for download on a website beginning with x, I don't know if I can mention the name. Replace the files in Applications/SBSettings.app with the about.HTML and SBSettings file you downloaded ;) you might need to reboot also :)
