New 13'' Baseline or Older model?

This is my first MB, i kind of waited for this update but like everyone else, im not that impressed. However, i am due for a new laptop for school. So i was wondering, should i save a few hundred bucks and go with last years model (if i can find it at best buy or something) or go with the new one? Thanks.

You can get the old one for $930 as a refurbished from Apple, just so you know.

Ya i just saw that actually... Only thing i dont like about the new MBP is the battery life but from what i read its a more realistic reading. So does that mean last year macbook is actually also 7 hours?
