Hi, all. I've been reading about all kinds of issues that seem to be coming up when running the new Macbook Pro with the AMD graphics chip. Has there been a graphics driver update released lately for windows that resolves these issues? Or are they still causing problems?

I'm planning on buying a 15" retina macbook pro in the next couple of weeks or so, but wanted to make sure this wasn't going to become an issue.

Thanks!

No issues here. AMD does not have the drivers on their website, so the only way to get 'em is via Boot Camp Assistant.

No issues here either and I've done a lot of gaming on mine. Just as stable as my old 750M rMBP.
No driver updates yet sadly, I'm hoping for one when AMD releases a bunch of 3XX series chips...

Windows 8.1 Can't change desktop resolutions. I get poor performance in most games.

How much of a difference between the 750M and the AMD? Gaming/real world usage... There were a lot of varying thoughts out when it was first released, but not much anymore. Curious now that people have been using it more. Worth the upgrade from the 750M?

I would want the AMD over the Nvidia just for the hope that they would have rectified the damn Logic Board issue.

Haven't played many games, but it works flawlessly so far as I can tell in Windows 10 Preview. There was a driver update that came down via Windows Update specifically for the 370x a few days ago as well. I'll run some benchmarks tonight when I get home and see if things have improved.

Thanks for the link virginblue4. I'm already getting 60 FPS+ on the one game I play, Fallout: New Vegas (1600x1200), and it's 35 FPS+ on full resolution (2880x1600).

I don't notice a difference between default Boot Camp drivers and the driver I got from Windows Update.

There is a noticable difference but lately I have been having throttling issues, I will be taking my laptop to the Apple store as I'm not really happy about it. It's strange my 750M used to get pretty hot but was fine and didn't throttle, this laptop seems to throttle at a much lower threshold.

Alright, finally got a chance to run a benchmark. Sorry for the delay. In Windows 10 build 10130 with the most updated everything, I ran the Ultra Street Fighter 4 benchmark last night. Once at full resolution, and once at full resolution with 16x FSAA. This is probably the most demanding game I have right now, (until Arkham Knight finishes installing) but it isn't exactly Crysis, so the results should speak for themselves.
