I received my new MacBook Pro yesterday. Stock higher-end 2.7 ghz / 512 GB model.

It seems great so far, except I've had some issues with apps crashing. Office apps, Safari, Messages, Cisco AnyConnect. All have crashed on me some. It also seems like the crashing app will lose network connectivity (just the app, not other apps) and then crash shortly thereafter. Within a minute to two. Might be related somehow.

Really don't want to wipe this thing and start from scratch. Anyone running into this??

Crash, as in might stop responding briefly and then the app closes itself or sometimes it's just instant. Either way, the app quits on its own. I don't have to force quit it.

Not sure how much if this needs to be included, but here are a couple crashes:

Thanks, it's been behaving all afternoon, so I'm going to leave it alone and hope for the best. I'll give the reset a try if issues continue.

Same crash issues here, all segmentation faults. Will try the SMC reset as well.

Same crash problem here. The textEdit, Finder and Grab and many other applications would crash. I have seen it several times on my new 15". I had to force to cold restart. Lost some of my works. No solution at this moment.
[doublepost=1481099948][/doublepost]for your information, I am using 10.12.2 beta 4. I am going to update to beta 5.

I got my MBP on Friday. I spent the weekend getting it set up. I have frequent application crashes as well. The apps that crash most often are Eclipse and Sublime Text 2. Java applications crash frequently. This is exceedingly troublesome. I can't even develop code on my machine. Every mac I've had has been stable for Java. This machine is a huge problem.
