At this point, every Macbook I've had in the last 5 years has been riddled with issues and I'm exhausted dealing with Apple and losing money.

BUT... I need em to produce music. SO... Can someone tell me what the hell this is?

I've done everything I can find on Google and this Mac is still doing it, almost every time it's in sleep mode for a few hours. It does not do it for the first couple of hours.

A well-equipped 2018 Mini or perhaps a 27" iMac...?

Actually, yes I am. Maaaan do I hope that’s not the issue because I really need it. I really don’t like little snitch ans am unaware of anything else that works as well.

Yes I have but I do NEED a Macbook, and can’t afford to have one really high specked of each, so I prefer portability and the ability to dock it in because I have an illness that requires lengthy hospital stays and I really need to work if I can’t be home.

Plus, my new Mac is out performing all of the Mac Pros that are in most people’s budgets. Anything stronger would be a higher end iMac, or the coming Mac Pros, and those are also out of my range.

So far, it should had restart 3 times and has not. I replaced Hands Off! with Radio Silence. Thanks a lot. I'll update if it goes back to hell.
 
Try updating to the latest Catalina version that was released yesterday (10.15.6). Some users have reported that it fixed some kernel panics related to sleep and external screens.

So far, getting rid of hands off did it. These last 2 days are the first days I’ve had it act normal, since I’ve owned it.

Plus, I know the new update isn’t a huge update but us musicians fear any update as they sometimes kill our plugin compatability or reliability.
