sorry, just kidding. Like I said earlier, I ordered my wife's VD iMac last Tuesday at 6:38 am PST. It was supposed to be shipped by today. Well then today pretty much passes and now its delayed 'till the 23rd of this month. I cancelled the order. Then placed a new order for one with 512 MB single DIMM. I've been regretting all week not getting the 512 in the first place. I guess the added delay was a good thing. I have to tell myself things like this to keep from going crazy.

Wow. Now I feel bad. Hope you get your iMac soon. Right now, mine is on a flight out of C.K.S. INTL AIRPORT TW. Hopefully it should be in the USA tomorrow, and in my Kitchen Thursday.

Well I cancelled the second order. I tried to buy one from BackToTheMac today but it wasn't in the cards to get it from him in time for Valentine's Day. So I'm driving to Atlanta to buy one at their Apple Store. It'll be neat to see a store in person. And hey Chuck, what size shirt do you wear?

Got the new machiche and it passed the Acid Test: my wife. She absolutely loves it. Back to the blissful days of old. She hasn't had a mac to use since 1997.

My wife loves ours too...

Strangely enough, my wife who was complaining about the cost of getting the MacIntosh actually made my Valentine's day present on the new computer. It was a short essay, in book form about our life. She did it completely by herself in Appleworks.

I never even told her how to launch Appleworks.

Mine shipped from CKS International Airport in Taiwan as well. As of Valentine's Day, it has left Indianapolis, but the tracking hasn't been updated since that time!

I have had my 17" iMac for almost two months. I love it. It is by far, the best computer I have ever owned.
