OLD 2.33ghz 15'' mbp

They are basically the same price. I am going to be a first time mac user sin the next few days 😀 and checking all my choices (there are soo many). Thanx

the new mbp excels over even the old high end model in cpu performance, gpu, ram capacity, screen brightness, battery life, and environmental detriment.
so definitely go with the new one.

I would definitely go for the new one. It has a much faster GPU, better screen, faster FSB etc.

thanx... they are selling the old 2.33ghz MBPs for a bit more than the new low end ones?! I wounder who would pay more $ for a slower computer???

Opps I meant old 2.33ghz are more $ than the new 2.2ghz. It is the other way around

Is the new "santa rosa" processor that much better? How much better is the higher end 15" (2.4 and 256mb VRAM) than the normal one (2.2 and 128mb VRAM)?
