During todays WWDC 2012 keynote Apple showed a new 2.5" Thunderbolt Drive with the new Retina Macbook Pro.

It was up on the screen. Here is a link to the picture:

    When will this come out?

I believe this is the one you're looking for:

I'm looking forward to this one. It just says it'll be released "early Q3".

Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for.
This seems to be the first fast thunderbolt SSD which won't need an external power connector.

I hope it won't be too expensive.

    No, it's not the first.

    Elgato makes an external SSD.

The cheapest model, which is the 120 GB SSD can be picked up from Amazon for around 420 USD.

I already knew the one from elgato but I wouldn't say this one qualifies as "fast" since they are using a older and slow sandisk sad because I think they had some power problems.

For what it has to offer it is much too expensive.
