New 2010 MP + Magic Mouse issues

im having some terrible laggy and unresposnsive performance with the magic mouse that came with my new MP. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Ive read before that there might be issues in the old mac pros, but I take it they havent fixed anything ? I have an airport extreme as my router thats right next to the MP (wont be able to move it too far if that helps though...and I also cannot switch to 5ghz band as some people have previously suggested) so any other solution possible to have a normal working magic mouse?

I have nothing but annoyances with all bluetooth keyboards & mice, stick to wired you'll never have a problem

I have your exact same setup with no issues, but my airport extreme is at least 10 feet away.
