New 2018 iPad Pro’s and HDR

I have a bunch of iTunes movies that are 4K HDR/vision. If the iPad Pro displays the HDR is there anyway of knowing? Does the movie need to be downloaded in its entirety or does streaming it also work?

Why would the iPhone X support HDR but the 2018 iPad Pro only via USB-C?

Thank you for the link. Well, this sucks.

It pretty much states the iPad Pro on Netflix does not support HDR, only if you connect it via USB-C to a compatible TV. So its just pass through?

Is this only Netflix or just a display limitation since the tech specs don’t state HDR anymore? Real sad...
