New 21.5 or refurb 21.5

I the refurb 21.5 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo is now selling for 1099 and a new 21.5 with 3.06GHz Intel Core i3 processor is selling for 1199.

Both appear to have the same ATI Radeon HD 4670 card.

Which do you think is a better buy? It would be a first iMac. No heavy duty photo editing...basically just a browsing, email, office, etc.

If you want to save even more, go with the $929 refurb of the base 21.5. It sounds like given your tasks even that would suit you just fine and you'd save an extra $170 compared to the higher end refurb ($270 compared to a new one).
