New 27" ACD?

The new iMacs make the 24" and 30" ACD somewhat obsolete at their current prices:

iMac 21.5" = 24" ACD resolution ~$1,000
iMac 27" = 30" ACD resolution ~$2,000

Would it not make sense for a refresh?
New 27" ~$1,000
Drop price of 24" ACD ~$600 ?

Well I read somewhere that there will not be any new products/refreshes until after the holidays.

It would make sense that a 27" ACD is in the works, but only time will tell.
