I'm just trying to spot any differences here and I can't see them. At Best Buy it's $149.00 cheaper than at the Apple Store, assuming you can buy Apple Care from either I'm wondering why there's such a big difference?

Best buy often have deals on macs, Apple never have discounts and rarely lower prices, the only deals Apple do is on refurbs, although they are as new Andy come with all the same warranties and Apple care options and can save you up to $300.

It used to be that no one ever had discounts on products. However, for reasons that Best Buy has (like the "Hey Apple, you want us to sell your stuff and compete with you, when you can cut the price to cost?" argument), Apple will never discount their products (nor will any retail arm of a company. Outlet malls are different, since they sell warranty repaired items, or discontinued ones.), I think Apple relaxed the discount policy they had prior to Tim.
