New 27" iMac weather Notification Center not working

I just bought a new iMac and for some reason the weather widget is not updating to my location, the Today summary is accurate however.

I already tried disabling and re-enabling Location services in Privacy and still nothing. Funny enough on my MacBook, it works perfectly fine. They're both connected to the same Wifi connection and all.

It really has me stumped, any insight into this?

So with my troubleshooting I've made some discoveries.


When I click on my network icon, it brings up the list of available networks, suddenly as I do that Location Services get dinged for weather specifically and then my location and proper weather appear in the Today tab, however after a minute passes and the location arrow goes away, the weather for my current location disappeared entirely.
