Obviously it comes with no optical drive, you buy that now which I did.

But it also comes with no discs containing the OS, reinstall or Apple Tools.

So should you ever find yourself needing to reinstall due to corruption, needing to wipe it clean for resale.

How does once do that, take it to an Apple Store?

😕

If an OS reinstall or hard drive wipe is needed, you can boot into Recovery by holding down Command-R at boot. This will work even if the hard drive fails thanks to Internet Recovery. Alternatively, you can also create a bootable USB OS X installer, that way you won't have to wait for the OS to download when doing a reinstall from Recovery.
