Hi all,

After installing Mavericks GM, I was pleasantly surprised at how much space I got back (over 5GB!), but was curious to find out what was deleted in the process of installing.
After using DaisyDisk I notice that 'Computer > Library > Desktop Pictures' is 440MB! So digging in, I find some new big 2880px tall wallpapers (with one OVER 25MB!).
Now forgive me if this has already been mentioned (I searched, but couldn't find any prior discussions) but after this thread was posted on the forums a while back

I'm wondering if Apple may be launching new Retina iMacs/Cinema Displays soon?

Isn't the new Mac Pro being sold as something suitable for 4K video editing?

Exactly. I thinks this explains the why the thunderbolt display hasn't been updated. I suspect a 4K TBD released along the new Mac Pro. The iMac may not get retina, to differentiate it from the Mac Pro.

If the past year has been any indication, a longer than normal refresh cycle = redesign coming
