Well, it does work with 5.1 so there's that

Absinthe 2.0.x was the "real" jailbreak for 5.1.1
Unless I have been struck stupid, it does not work with 5.1

The Unthreaded stuff is a stolen package originally renamed Shatter.
And it is no proof of back porting to anyone except those who don't know the origin of it.

Exactly. That was my point. Jailbreaks aren't normally backwards compatible. That's not an "easy" feat. We had a jailbreak for 5.0.1 and then we later had one for 5.1.1. It did not work on 5.1. I'm sure you can go back in time and get all the facts and find this exact scenario repeated but obviously that's a complete waste of time.

I cannot recall a single jailbreak that was ever back-ported.
Not that it could not have ever been done, it is just not something that is done.
