New 6S earpiece distortion when on volume above 50%

I can hear some crackling noise in the earpiece, when I make a phone call or voip call (viber, skype) and the volume is set to 50-60% and up.
It is kind of distortion, but the funny part of it is that I cannot hear it when something is recorded in voice memos and then played through the earpiece (even on max volume)
Is my earpiece faulty or just the 6S/6S+ are this way. Never experienced on my previous 5S...

I can hear some noise sometimes while talking on the phone but dont know when exactly it happens. Btw I've got a 6s+.

Does this happen on high volume?

Have not heard this crackling sound on my 6s, but heard it using a SOL bluetooth headset. My sound is cranked up high even. Changed Bluetooth headset to a Boss, and all is well now. Your's might be faulty

Hello, I have exactly the same problem with my phone. Gf bought iPhone 6 month ago and has same problem. Take a look at this thread

It's really frustrating how many are affected by this actually. I started to read and there are more and more people, complaining from this issue. Apple is really starting to lose my respect on their products..
