That doesn't make sense. What does everyone else see on theirs?

Did you restore with your previous backup?
My restored 6s+ is showing 19GB.

I never understood what "current period" meant in these statistics. I wish I could just insert when my bill cycle ends and it resets automatically. Otherwise the statistic is worthless to me.

I restored from an iCloud backup.

Given that my carrier says I use between 5 and 10gb/month of data usage, I'm just not sure what this phone is counting, unless it's reporting usage that occurred prior to using this particular phone.

That's what I mean. I think it's cumulative from the previous phone since you restored from that backup.

Yeah, I think that's it. You can reset the counter at the bottom of that settings page. It probably just hasn't been reset in ages. Will reset now and track it over the next month.

Yeah it does kinda suck that you can't automatically restart the counter at a set date like on an android phone.

Interesting. Didn't realize you could do that with Android. Nice feature.

I think this number is associated with the SIM card you are currently using as well as the carrier settings for that particular sim card. I have 2 sim cards, every time I insert one the number changes, though I'm on the same phone and not restoring/updating or whatever.

That would make sense.

I reset my stats and now show only 19mb since last night :)
