Keep it, no point trying to keep up with the latest.

In any case personally I like the aluminium style surround more than the new shiny black edge, in that it is less obvious in visually, it tends to blend in the background.

You have a 30" screen Apple LCD. Think how lucky you are. I had to scrape to get a 20". And before it was 17" CRT so be pleased with what you have been able to get, I would.

is there anything wrong with your current display or do you just have a case of "i need the new things"?

If its the latter i have one remedy, dont buy things simply because its new.

If there is a problem with your current display however, go ahead and shop around.

I think this is it. I know it's hard to fight, but I don't know anyone who would want to downgrade from 30" to 24" just to have the latest. Crazytalk I tell ya.
