This is exactly the type of adapter Click is making. I guess this chinese company beat click to it lol

Those are the ones I'd prefer!

I've actually been looking for this style of adapter but can't find one that ships outside of the U.S. :(

Have you got a link to this one?

Yes, I found some one eBay that ships from NY

Silver WatchBand Adapter Watch Band Connector Adaptor For Apple iwatch 38mm 42mm

Copy and paste that into the search bar on eBay. They're $17.

That longer link also resolved to: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281688911285

Doesn't ship to Canada (wtf not?!) - I mean, really, just drop it in the mail - I'd pay the extra postage.

Doesn't have them in black though. That would be key for me (SB SS - when it arrives that is).

Also, why is it coming with that tool? You have to still put in screws?

Looks like you got the better of the two adapters available :) The bars on the other adapter with the screws are too thick for some bands (I found out the hard way), but spring bars are pretty standard for most bands, I think.

What is the distance between the lugs on this adapter? Does it fit 24mm wide straps? or just 22mm?

From the auction: Include: 2pcs adapter and tool.

38mm adapter fit width: Max 20mm watchband.

42mm adapter fit width: Max 24mm watchband.

I found the exact same adapter sold on a chinese website and there were some reviews from their buyers. The comments are all in chinese so what I did was open up the website using Chrome and then translate the whole page to english. The translation was bad but at least I could still make out what they were getting at lol. Here is the link : http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.168.hKXh2a&id=45283115909&ns=1&abbucket=20#detail

Edit : From what I could gather, this adapter is not well made and still had room for improvement. I can't wait for them to come up with a new and improved 2nd batch of these adapters in Space Grey...

I'll be picking up a pair whenever they come out in space grey or black

Do you happen to have pictures of that adaptor in your watch? I'd love to see what it looks like - that's the kind of adaptor that I want.
