Just picked up three PowerPC laptops:
  1. 867MHz PowerBook, 128MB of RAM, unknown HD capacity, unknown optical drive, AirPort
  2. 1.2GHz iBook G4, 512MB RAM, 30GB HD, Combo Drive, Airport Extreme
  3. 1.2GHz iBook G4, 512MB RAM, 30GB HD, Combo Drive, Airport Extreme
Picked up all three with spare batteries, a power adapter (doesn't appear to work), and a composite / s-video adapter for $30.

PowerBook has a few bends in the chassis and the seller informed me the optical drive has an issue (doesn't eject media?). TOne of the 1.2GHz iBook's is in excellent shape. The other doesn't boot and is missing a few keys.

Wiping the hard drive on the PowerBook annd iBook to install a fresh OS.

Now I need to figure out what to do with them. I didn't really need them but didn't want to see them go to the recycler so I decided to pick them up. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Updated third iBook configuration

I always preferred the PowerBook over the iBook. I'm constantly wondering why I own so many Macs, although I've sold some recently to fund other projects.

Congrats, by the way!
Selling off my collection is looking more and more profitable, but then further down the road, when most of my newer machines are going to be more profitable is more so exciting.

Thanks! The iBook is in pretty darn good shape. Aside from the inevitable scuffing that happens it looks pretty darn close to new. Trackpad, keyboard, case...all clean (though I did have to wipe it down with a damp cloth to get it that way).

The PowerBook is in decent shape though the case has some "bending" (not really sure what to call it)...seems to be typical on these if they've been mishandled. Otherwise it's in good shape though might need a memory update.
