About a month or so ago Safari began showing ads in my search results when I performed a google search. They are clearly identified and easy to skip over, but typically take a whole screen and must be scrolled through. They are identified with a gold "Ad" box to the side. They do not appear on all searches, just some. For example when I type in "pizza" the first 2 results are google ads: Ad www.pizzahut.com/Deals Ad www.dominos.com/ Who implemented this change ? Google? Apple? How can it be avoided? I found an app called Duck Duck Go which is supposed to be a searching app with better privacy that I could use, but first choice would be to fix the integrated Safari / Google searches. Is there a way to use a different search engine in Safari? I'm already jailbroken.
