a youtube video in 1080p - see if it can run without fans kicking in, or how long does it take to start fanning up.
The stinker about these looks like the HD graphics card and the reduction of battery life - probably to do with reintroduction of keylights
Faster processing saves time but if makes the machine more noisy and reduces battery life I prefer to wait a little longer.
