Hey guys I've had my airport express as my main wifi connection and I was looking at getting a new iMac that can obviously use the n connection.

I was thinking about getting a new airport to get the best of my connection but was just wanting to be sure that it still broadcast b and g along with n since my wife has a 2006 macbook and we have a ps3.

Second part of my two part question.

Could the old AE be used as a bridge?

Thanks!

You can run the Express in mixed mode (n,g,b). This gives you 130mbps maximum. More like 100mbps in reality but still faster than your internet connection. You can use the old g Express as a bridge to wired connections.
