Well, because of this it won't sell well in the UK 'cos most lines are ADSL. I wanted an AirPort Extreme, but when I learned that I'd have to get an extra modem, I just got a Linksys instead.

The UK represents 6% of broadband users worldwide. Talk about a niche market!

What Apple should perhaps consider doing is making a USB ADSL modem that can be used with the Airport Extreme and/or Macs directly now that they've removed the analog modem.

when will we start seeing hotspots with 802.11n capability? I think cafes under tight business environment will find it difficult to upgrade their Wi-Fi to Wi-Max. I think it took a lot of them a few years to shell out money to go from 802.11b to 802.11g.

It would be interesting to see customers habit in these sort of places when there is more bandwidth and the web becomes more video oriented. One thing for sure, give us more bandwidth, and we'll use it regardless of how meaningful the content may be (think YouTube).
