New Apple Passwords App Doesn’t AutoFill

I have installed IOS 18 on my 11” IPad Pro with the M1 chip. I have ensured that AutoFill passwords is enabled and have setup a few websites on the new Apple Passwords app, but autofill doesn’t work (I still have to manually enter the password). I must be doing something wrong and would appreciate any help.

Assuming the domain is set?

In settings there is a toggle for the auto-fill. Make sure the appropriate one is selected. I had multiple ones on and it caused lots of confusion, especially when they were out of sync with each other.

I’m not sure what you mean by set. I have copied the website address and paster that when setting up a new account in the PW app,but still not autofilling.

I now have it working. Thanks for the help, both of you. Not having the actual website in the setup and eliminating the possible confusion re: the autofilling buttons took care of my problem. Many thanks.
