Just downloaded the new Apple TV app and on the whole it's good but no Idea why they left out Apple Watch support seems daft after Tin Cook bragging that he could control his Apple TV from his watch.

I'm assuming you're referring to the new Siri Remote app...? If he was bragging about controlling via his watch, he was probably using the older Remote app, which does work.

Yeah I've got the old remote app which does still work but confused why they would release the specific Apple TV 4 app for the iPhone with Siri built in but not have Apple Watch functionality for Siri.

They'll probably have it at some point, not a huge issue -- the new ATV Remote app on my 6S+ is great :)

Wow just tried it; as miff'd as I was about the Videos app is matched by how nice the new remote app is; now if they could just make the Video as "just like that"; I was half expecting to see the video on my phone..!?

Can you say Christmas !? :-o
