I got this new box a matter of weeks ago and the centre button for clicking is stiff and often doesn’t even work. It’s very clicky and doesn’t always respond. What do people advise as these remotes cost a bit to replace. I had the HD model never had the issue when I had it for about a year.

New Apple TV remote buttons stiff already

I’ve also had my ATV 4K 2022 for a few weeks now. Today the Display and Mute buttons suddenly became very stiff and clicky too. Some how I’m not surprised given Apple’s track record here lately. Although their hardware tends to be rather well built whereas the software blows chunks, but they have screwed up on keyboards for MacBooks in the past…
Apple TV? Is it the centre button? Mine has become very stiff and clicky and sometimes doesn’t move along correctly. Never had this issue with the lightning version maybe I will buy the lightning remote instead as it’s the same but less issues?
