New Apple TV Remote Jumpy?

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
I have a relatively new Apple TV (got it in January), and today the remote started having weird behavior. The track pad is really jumpy and non responsive, extremely imprecise. It will either not react to my finger or over react which is highly frustrating.

I power cycled the Apple TV and also charged the remote but it didn't seem to help.

Let me know if anyone knows how to work with this?

I had similar issues with mine when I got it (launch day, whenever that was). It's covered under AppleCare, I scheduled a Genius Bar appointment and brought just the remote in, they swapped it out -- the replacement has worked flawlessly ever since. You don't necessarily need to schedule an appointment, I just did it to save time. When I scheduled, they said to just bring the remote and not the ATV4 itself.
