I think this is rad. The constant shadowing of the characters reminds me of the old iPod commercials.
I like it better than the dull iPad twitter commercials. It's kind of cool but it still doesn't convince me to buy a watch at this time. Maybe when the battery last longer and is, sorry to say this, thinner :D

It's not like this site has an enormous amount of articles going around anyway. Why not? I certainly find it interesting as I never see any Apple ads except for here.
Well, to be honest.. you can't blame macrumors for that. What exciting news is coming from Apple these days? One thing is for certain: be prepared for the grand opening of GREED Park in April

I agree. Even if it's an adverisment, it still counts as Apple news or related to the Apple Watch. It may not be necessarily informative, but Apple's marketing is always aggressive and interesting at times.

Yeah, me too. I am not saying this commercial is great or anything, but the iPad ones are horrible. I am sure I am not the target audience for the Apple Watch or the new iPad commercials, but this commercial wouldn't annoy me nearly as much as the stupid iPads ones if I had to watch them all the time.

I seem to live in an atypical world: which is not a concatenation of roller skates, hockey pitches, beach scenes, fitness centers, disco's, running mates.
My family actually does valuable things other than running around like imbeciles.
So I am inclined to take off my AppleWatch.

Couldn't agree more. I'm so sick of these ads full of kids playing jumping dancing and what not.

I don't know, what has it come to with Mac Rumors regular front page main stories being 'beta announcements and releases' and 'the latest Apple device / service ad campaign'... we used to get Mac rumours, but as they are slowly being killed off I guess these 'other' stories will continue?

I guess I'm not the only one completely and utterly bored by this company.

'joined: Jun 2, 2006' - you must be bored.

Still dreaming of the day when the AW can do everything the Garmin ForeRunner 630 does. But would be really awesome if they made a model that went head to head with the new ForeRunner 935. Serious training features, not just casual fitness metrics.

How can I live bright when the jellyfish is the only worthwhile Watch face?

I was skeptical at first but I have to say the AW motivates me to work out. I am an avid swimmer.
Since purchasing it, has improve my conditioning making sure I swim at least 1h and push for better pace each time. This past month it has been my best yet, I just missed two days working out. Keeping track and the data for sure in my case has been a motivational tool. I hope Apple can keep improving it.

I workout almost daily. Variety of strength training, running, cycling and swimming. I've used my Apple Watch through multiple long distance runs and triathlons.

The Apple Watch is an excellent option that will only get better. Eventually all these dedicated fitness watches will go the way of standalone GPS devices.

I mean, technically the Watch is a computer. And when you think about the internals and what they've managed to build in terms of an actual computer in that tiny device, it's pretty remarkable.

Same here and I love it! Also - the Apple Watch has been compared to dedicated gps watches several times and actually been pretty spot on.

I primarily run, but for that it's awesome. The longer distances like half marathon and above is pretty spot on with the official signs on the routes
