Is Apple likely to brin* out new third versio; of Ultra in Sept as the6 always bring a new model of the Watch then

Rumours about new Apple Watches almost none so far.
I have only heard some generic stuff like „10th generation of AW Series will be a major design change“ and the usual sensor speculations they throw at the wall every year.

Ultra 3: nothing so far.

But I suppose we will see an Ultra 3 in September anyway.

Might be a spec bump but don’t think they will break the yearly cycle

From Gurman:

Apple is planning a ““Watch X” model to mark the device’s 10-year anniversary, and it promises to be the biggest overhaul yet. (The category was unveiled in 2014 and released the following year, so Apple is planning to launch Watch X either in 2024 or 2025.)

I'm going to be torn on what to go for if the Ultra 3 is available in DLC black but is the same otherwise and there's a new normal watch that is thinner with bigger screen.

I love the Ultra but a new shape standard watch might sway me.

The rumor that we will get a bigger AW but not a smaller bezel on the Ultra, would almost give the normal Apple Watch more screen real estate than the Ultra (already close).... So they would need to sync these updates :D

I don't care what color it is. I just hope there is a release in September. If they were still saying no new Ultra this year I'd go and get the Ultra 2 today.

I do not believe that rumor (regular AW 45/49mm case size) at all.

imho they can't say that.
The Ultra is ultra, so the current avail model can't have an older SoC/SiP (however you will call it) than the current avail Apple Watch. If they release a series 10/X, then there will also be a new Ultra.
So, I think, there will at least be a spec bump.

That makes sense.
