Tried one on in the Apple Store a few hours ago and ... yep, I ordered their last Large band and walked out to my car to find out it was the black band ... so returned it and set a pick up for the natural titanium band tomorrow at another Apple Store lol.

That band felt crazy good - and I have a lot of arm hair. Looking forward to it. My wife has the Milanese loop? on her Apple Watch so we'll be matching. :D

I upgraded from a s7 with milanese to the U3. I couldnt get the titanium band with the watch unfortunatly so had to buy it seperatly. I have never spent £200 on a band and was really dubious. Honestly, its by far the nicest most comfy band ive ever had. I often forget im wearing the watch. Im so happy i decided to buy it, i used to scoff at Apple for the cost, but now i get it.
When considering how well it's made and how amazing the clasp is, they deserve the applause. Also - take a look at the high-end mechanical alternatives, with Omega and the No-Time-To-Die Bond Seamaster - thick double layer and not infinitly adjustable like Apples - and costs a fortune

The alpine band is a great band, I have an orange one from the AW1, and a white ocean. I don't think that the Ti mesh is worth $200 bucks, but basically since I had to spend $100 on the band...then well whatever. If I could have purchased with no band I would have. That said the Ti mesh is super nice.
I agree. Best band I've used so far on mu U2. Just got an u3 in black with black band.

I was disappointed when my band arrived because I was expecting it to be magnetic. After I got it properly adjusted I got used to the clasp and no longer consider it to be an issue, although I still prefer it would be magnetic. I guess you can’t do that with titanium.
Feel like magnetic is too risky

Since I bought mine a year ago I’ve never worn another strap. Use it for running, business, weekend - really versatile, tough, comfortable. I replaced my s1 ultra with an s3 this week and went for a black watch and Milanese; that was the only choice (briefly considered the green ocean and the black alpine, but neither are as versatile or utilitarian cool as the Milanese).

I have a natural titanium in mint condition that I might sell.

I find the ultra too big for a suit and dress shirts. The ultra gets stuck on shirt cuffs
Ditto. I needed a slimmer watch, so I opted for the S11 TI in slate, paired with the slate Milanese loop strap. Looks very unobtrusive and fits nicely under a buttoned shirt cuff.
