Jansport?

"I wonder why no one ever mentions Jansport. They have a handful of laptop backpacks with Airlift straps (the have that soft gel-like honeycomb for padding), which should be really comfortable.

The ones that have Airlift straps are: Air Cure, Firewire, Exchange, Lap Station, and Air Revolt.

I recently ordered the Exchange. It looks really big, but I should be able to make it smaller with the compression straps on the side when it's not full. It should be here next week.

I wonder the same. How do you like your Exchange?
Does anyone have any info on Jansport Air Cure for a 17"mbpro?

Thanks.

Another vote for Booq.
They're really thoughtfully designed and well made.
I've had one of their bags for 4 years and it's still in perfect condition.

It's not bad. It's not quite as comfortable as my old Jansport bag because the straps are not padded on the outside edge, so they tend to dig i if you load it up really heavy. It is more comfortable than most other backpacks, though. I have a 15" MBP and it goes basically all the way to the top of the bag. I wouldn't put a 17" laptop in it.

I have Victorinox; great quality, quite easy to hold a few books and my computer; however the built in laptop sleeve only holds upto 15" on my bag; those 17" bags are way too big for me.
