If anyone remember last year around this time was the apple store updated with a new line up of bands?

You can almost certainly expect new bands to be shown when the new watch is announced on Wednesday.

which means that fashion-forward colors of the sports band in particular should be purchased today/tomorrow if you want to buy them. or they might be gone. that happens every year.

Apple *usually* refreshes the watchbands twice a year, which they have done so already back in June, but I also expect more watch bands or accessories to launch along side the Series 4 Apple Watch on Wednesday.

So now you can only buy 40 and 44mm bands on Apple.com. What does this mean for everyone else that doesn't upgrade to AW4? Will these bands be exactly the same as 38 and 42?

It's the same size so no worries. The case is taller but not wider so the bands are universal.
