Very nice. Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking at getting a refurbished one.

Whats everyones opinion. Go refurb or find one on ebay? I`m eyeing ebay as I might score one with some more addons for less then again probably no warranty....

If it's in the first year still then it'll be under Apple's warranty and I think you might still be able to extend the warranty to 3-years via the Apple Care Protection Plan.

I got lucky with a refurbished MacBook from Apple that had a larger HDD and extra RAM. I would stay away from eBay when it comes to buying a Mac.

P.S. D'oh! I just bought a new iMac from Amazon two weeks ago. (of course, after the rebate, it wasn't much more).

A big yawn on these Apple refurbs. Should I get a refurb 20" 2.4 iMac for $1122 (price + 7% tax) or pay $1144 for a NEW one from Amazon or MacMall (which includes a free printer and Parallels). Duh.
