new battery not charging

i bought a new battery a few weeks ago. The problem is that i'm using my computer and if the power adapter comes out the computer shuts off. I looked in the system info and the battery has a full charge capacity of 3800 and a remaining charge capacity of 0. I guess this means the battery is not charging. I reset the PMU but no luck. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you could very possibly have a faulty battery. Get it replaced, if you can.

i will try but it's out of warranty...argh too much money spent on batteries and chargers.
