Hmm, I bet Apple is working on a way to support Lossless over some kind of Bluetooth, or alternative, perhaps something like AirPlay?

What about combining two distinct bluetooth streams into one.

Anyone who has basic knowledge about sound, audio, and Headphones won’t buy this piece of ****. Sorry to say but its brutal truth.

I know it’s hard to dispute the bad reputation of Beats. But I gave it a second chance since Apple acquisition and so far I’m loving Beats more than AirPods.

I’ve owned Beats Solo Pro for their excellent ANC/Transparency. Also the latest, wired Powerbeats for workout and its insane 15hours of battery life. They sound generally better than comparable AirPods too.

Now one may argue if pitting against AirPods is pretty low standard. But if you live in Apple ecosystem, then there’s much more than just “audiophile headphones”. The H1 and W1 chip, Find My support is something you can’t get outside Apple (along with Beats) audio products.

Wondering what the purpose is of having these and AirPods Pro in the product line. Couldn't these be one line?
They often want to be innovative in some sort of way with their own products, there are rumors more health functions like heartbeat, step counting and who knows what else are coming to the new Airpods Pro 2. Maybe these are just slightly upgraded Airpods Pro, little better sound, battery and noise cancelling but not worthy calling Airpods Pro 2.

I’m struggling to understand why Apple puts USB-C on some of their headphones and Lightning connectors on others.

still don’t understand why they keep the beats brand and not just sell with an Apple logo.
apple bought hundreds of companies but this is the only brand which is alive.
Beats has a following, and targets some specific demographics that Apple cant reach as well, as much as they would like to. A discount luxury brand so to speak.

Beats have their own development and production teams, so it's understandable that Beats is USB-C and Apple is lightning.
Besides, Apple got what they wanted from the aquisition back in the day anyway. Apple can scrape the profits of the headphone sales, makes no odds to them.

There is a specific demographic that is very attached to the Beats brand, they would not just go and by Apple headphones (with Beats gone), they would go and buy another hip hop and rap focused brand.
You presume that only those tha listen to Hip-Hop (not Hip and Hop lmao) is a particular demographic that ONLy buys beats. Many youth that listen to other genres or just stream purchase Beats not simply for the brand but price competitive to others and they know it’ll work with their iPhones or they got them free during back to school promotions.

If it has all the same features as the AirPods Pro + better sound then I will purchase. The black ones look very nice.
Considering just launched Sony WF-1000XM4’s I’m under the feeling Apple AirPods Pro 2’s will feature a touch interface as these seem to use the pinch-force of the og AirPods Pro.

and for very good reasons!
we’d not have true wireless AirPods or AirPods Pro. Some would dispute that but hey we’ve been stuck with wired EarPods for over a decade, come on now.

I really want an updated version of the Powerbeats Pro. They're the best headphones I've ever had, they're everything I want - good sound, ear hooks and long battery life. My pair, after a year and a half are getting a little shaggy physically and I'd love to get new ones.
