Hey Guys, I’m a 6s user for almost two years now. Planning to upgrade my phone. I would like to understand which one is a better choice among X,Xs,Xr & Max

Oh boy, you're gonna get a lot of opinions with a question like that, but ultimately it comes down to what's the best phone for you and your needs. Maybe go to a store and check out each one to help get better idea of what would be best for you. Everyone's use of a phone is different, so again, you ultimately need to determine what's the best phone for you. Also taking into consideration what fits your budget best if that's even a factor.

I upgraded my from a 6s to the X a year ago and couldn’t be happier. The physical size of the phone is very similar except it benefits from a larger screen size. I personally don’t like plus sized phones so I have to experience with them. You probably should go to the Apple store and play around with each phone and make a decision from there. Remember, you’ll have an extended return period because of the holidays so if you don’t like what you’ve chosen you can take it back..

Well screen size is a huge factor in that lineup. Do you want something close to your 6s or are you comfortable with a phone you likely won't be able to fully use one-handed?

Camera is another factor. Apparently the 2018 phones shoot much better photos than the X, especially in low light situations.

Storage may be a factor in your decision since the X/Xs jump from 64 to 256GB while the Xr offers a 128GB variation.

Just a few things to consider.

I’m in the same boat with a 6s. $600 for a used X or buy a new Xs. I’ve seen the Xr at Best Buy and feel it’s too big for me. Nice phone though.

I currently use a 32 gig and my target is 256gig. I need a phone to last for 24 hrs with its battery. Little excited about Xs. But then I also predict a usb type c charging in the next gen phone.

Thank you everyone for your advise. I am a proud owner of Xs Max. All I need to understand is how to restore the back up from my old phone to this. When I’m restoring the backup. It shows an old date.

If you are not backing up to the cloud you can use iTunes.

All devices including iTunes will need to be updated to the latest iOS.

Do an encrypted backup to iTunes and use it to restore your new phone.

Did the same. It still shows the backup from 2nd December where in I was today backing up the device.
