I just saw that the new camera connection kit with lightning is seperated into SD and USB. You have to buy them seperately for the full price each. WTF Apple...
And I also don't like the extension. The old one was a nice litte connector.
I hope there are 3th party connectors as soon as they crack the chip.
 
Do you happen to have a link to the lightning to USB camera connection one? I found the SD one but can't find the USB one. I agree, though, that it is bogus for Apple to separate them out & charge full price for each.
 
wow this kinda does suck.

They claim the cables are more because of the chip in the lighting end.

So not that surprised there charging more.

But this does suck.


I guess it would be better off just getting the USB one and you can just plug a card reader into it.

Just buy the 30 pin to lightning adapter and use the old camera kit.
 
Curious about this too now.

Well know soon enough once these lightning port iPads are on the market
