No, I didn't think they forgot. hhaaaaa I just thought they wanted to miss the entire main selling season.
I have the new Caudate Veil, and the camera ridge works out very well. Just enough to lift the lens off the surface but no more than that.
Although I'm fine with the open bottom on the Veil, I definitely would have gotten the XT if I had known about it.

Outstanding. I go back and forth between the Shumuri and a Spigen Capsule. I love the thinness and tight fit of the Shumuri, but don't like that the camera protrudes. This should do it...
Hey NJGold. Why do you have the XT case and it's not released yet? Also, when will Caudabe release it?
I do case reviews on my blog and on the iOSDocked podcast. I have been a big promoter of Caudabe's products in the past and they have been kind enough to provide products for reviews and giveaways on the podcast.
I don't have info on when they will be releasing the XT, but I would assume it will be soon.
I don't know if I want this "XT" version, to be honest. It just seems like the bottom would be prone to breaking. I'm fine now with the updated version of the Veil. feels and looks really sleek.
Not at all. I have had the case on for a couple of weeks without issue. The case is so form fitting there is no play or give. Actually, it makes the phone a bit easer to hold as I usually use my pinky finger to rest the phone on.

The bottom of Veil XT looks nice. I wish Caudabe would hurry up and release it soon.

You can check out the Caudabe site as the new Veil's have the camera lip. The XT is basically the same except with the bottom coverage.
No lip on either case and has never had one, even for the older form factors.
Still rocking the pre-facelift Veil from shortly after the launch. I'll have to get one of these updated versions with extra protection around the camera cutout. That was the only thing that bugs me about the Veil I have now. I wonder if Caudabe will just send me a replacement. Has anyone asked about this?
