New build number: 188.8.131.52
I want to know how it auto updates? Every time I check the build it says I'm up to date and shows the latest build number but I haven't downloaded a thing.
Background version check I guess? Although it is Google so who knows what information they're gathering
any noticeable changes? Thats weird you spoke of auto update but i had to manually tell mine to update.
Apparently: The focus on this release has been feature polish, stability improvement, and extensions work.

I too had to manually update but I think it does do it automatically
I fail to see how this is news seeing as a new dev version is out almost every week. That said, the new version is blazing
Chromium, the open source stuff behind Chrome, gets new builds almost every other hour. There's a Chromium build update script that you can use instead of downloading it manually.
Ah, thanks I was looking for this. I'm still stuck on the public alpha from a few weeks back.
