Tried it, didn't work. Do you think I would have left it like that for years if that would have loosened it?

MAPP gas and an impact wrench then. No way would I ever resort to using cola for anything where "more power" can do the trick.

God. My kids 4th period today were babbling on and on about Coca-Cola Blak -- mainly arguing over whether it exists. I had to keep saying "I don't care if it exists, Jorge. Finish the questions about Lysander."

Freaking Coke. It just has to be more interesting than Shakespeare ...

I quite like Pepsi Max Cino, apart for its 'sugar free' taste. I'll be interested to see what Coca-Cola Blak tastes like, if they ever launch it in the UK.

Maybe I should try and make my own with a shot of espresso...

i had one after work last night. I must say, the taste was different than i thought. It was honestly like a seltzer at first with a hint of coffee, but the more i drank, it got better and better. Not great, and certainly not a value at $1.99, but definitely better than most crappy energy drinks (which is how it was marketed in CVS).

i tried this yesterday and i have to say that it was delicious! It tastes lilke liquid tiramisu:D . I couldn't drink too much of it, its quite a sweet taste, but it sure is lovely!

we don't have them here in california (that i know of), but when i went to chicago last week for spring break, i saw one lying around in the street...

where did you find it? i havent seen it anywhere in the uk yet (other than import websites)

i picked it up from a shop on one of the roads off of seven dials, covent garden, london. It's a bit of a cheat really, because the shop is a teeny shop that sells imported confectionary from all over the world. I picked up some TAB while i was there and my girlfriend bought loads of stuff. It was uber expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

The hubby and I just saw our first case of Coca-cola Blak here in the U.S. at our local meat market. I wonder if that means it will catch on....

That bottle looks like a piece of...pooh
Well, caffeine is a diuretic. This blak stuff is in all the stores in Chicago-land. I haven't tried it but my wife says it's nasty.

I had a sample bottle of it a few weeks ago, passed out at Best Buy (why, I don't know).

I couldn't even take a second sip of it.

I love coffee. I like Diet Coke. I can sometimes handle Coke. But this stuff? I found it to be repulsive.

It's been available on the West Coast for months I see it all the time at Target (probably the only store I frequent that sells Coke poducts). haven't tried it myself though...

Yeah, the concept sounds gross to me, too, but this was the first time we've noticed it in stores around here. Nevertheless, I don't plan on adding it to our diet anytime soon.

I had some Pepsi Kona back when it was being test-marketed. It was the summer after my first year at college, I think--I thought it was great. Of course I only had it once, and at that point in my life I thought throwing old modem cards into a campfire and using soda to put out said fire was great, too. :D

Back on topic: am I correct in assuming (based on the photo of the bottle) the drink's name is pronounced "Blake"?

That was exactly what I thought when I saw the straight line over the "a". Shouldn't that make the vowel long, as in "way"?

Anyway, I gotta find me some Coke Blake, even though I've pretty much switched to Diet Pepsi.

I've got some Blak in my fridge right now... it's pretty good, but not something you'd want to drink a lot of. The 8 ounce bottles are just about the right size.

I have had about fifteen of these so far and I’m still not sure if I like it. The very first drink I took I was like "holy crap this is gross!", but by the forth drink I was starting to like it. The only problem I have with it is that it uses the fake "diet" sugar stuff instead of the normal fructose corn syrup. I believe the Frech version isn't diet though, so maybe it tastes better...

Well as a follow-up to what I said earlier I finally opened it today. I honestly think that it doesn't taste much different from normal coke. I don't really know what to think of it.

I was tempted to buy some at the supermarket the other day, but it was crazy-expensive. I'll try it once the price goes down.
